LEFLOX Tablet

1. Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to this drug and/or other quilnolone antibacterial.

2. Children or growing adolescents

Common: Moniliasis, insomnia, headache, dizziness, dyspnea, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, vomiting, dyspepsia, ras, pruritus, vaginitis, edema, chest pain

Fluroquinolones, including Levofloxacin are associated with an increased risk of tendinitis and tendon rupture in all ages. This risk is further increased in older patients usually over 60 years of age, in patients taking corticosteroid drugs, and in patients with kidney, heart or lung transplants.

Fluroquinolones, including Levofloxacin may exacerbate muscle weakness in persons with myasthenia gravis. Avoid in patients with known history of myasthenia gravis

1. Diabetic patients receiving concomitant treatment should be carefully monitored of blodd glucose

2. Patients treated with Vitamin K antagonists should get coagulation tests monitored

3. Antacids, Sucralfate, Metal Cations, Multivitamins, theophylline, NSAIDs, probenecid, cimetidine, cyclosporine, warfarin

No adequate studies

1. Avoid dehydration

2. Consult your doctors if you experince symptoms of tendinitis or diahrea

3. Patients with renal insufficiency, under treatment of diabetes medicines, under treatment with warfarin should consult your doctor and be alert with any abnormal change.

Quinolone antimicrobial agent.

Inhibition of bacterial topoisomerase IV and DNA gyrase, enzymes required for DNA replication, transcription, repair and recombination.
