TAVANIC Tablet

Patients allergic to levofloxacin, any other quinolone antibiotic suc as moxifloxacin, ciprofloxacin or ofloxacin, or any of the other ingredients in this medicine

Patients who have or have ever had epilepsy

Patients who ever had tendon problems, such as tendinitis, related to treatment with a quinolone antibiotic.

A child or adolescent in the growth phase

Patients who are pregnant, may become pregnant or breas-feeding

Sleeping problems, headache, dizziness, nausea, allergic reaction (skin rash, difficult breathing or swallowing, swelling), diarrhea, fever, pain and inflammation of tendons or ligaments, seizures, numbness, liver disorder (loss of appetite, yellow coloring of the skin and eyes, dark colored urine, itching)

Corticosteroids, warfarin, theophyllin, NSAIDs, Ciclosporin, probenecid, mdicines known to affect the heart rate, drugs for depression, drugs for bacterial infections, iron tablets (for anemia), zinc prepartions, magnesium or aluminum-containing antacids (for heartburn), didanosine or sucralfate (for stomach ulcers)

Do not take Tavanic if you are pregnant, may become pregnant or breas-feeding

You may have side effects when taking this medicine, including sluggishness, drowsiness, dizziness, or changes to your eyesight, which may affect your ability to concentrate and your reaction speed. If this happens, you must not drive or carry out any activities that require a high degree of concentration.
