ZEOS Syrup

To relieve symptoms associated with allergic reactions such as allergic rhinitis, urticaria, allergic dermatitis, itching and burning sensation of the eyes.

Dosage

Adults: adult and children 12 years of age and over: two teaspoonfull daily (10mg), once daily.

Children: 2 to 12 years of age:

Body weight > 30kg: 10ml (10ml) two teaspoonfull once daily.

Body weight ≼ 30kg: 5ml (5ml) one teaspoonfull once daily.

Hypersensitive patients to loratadine.

Controlled-study shows that statistically there are no significant differences between loratadine and placebo in term of sedation and anticholinergic effect.

Since antihistamine may prevent or reduce positive reaction against the indicator of dermal reactivity, administration of this drug should be terminated more or less 48 hours before skin test procedure.

There is no adequate controlled study on pregnancy, thus it should only be administered when the advantages outweigh the risk.

This drug is secreted into breast milk, therefore care should be taken when administered to lactating women.

ZEOS is a long acting antihistamine with a fast onset of action.

This medicine has a high selectivity for peripheral histamine H1-receptors.
