UBENDOL Tablet

Dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, constipation

Dosage & Administration

300-400mg a day, in 3-4 divided doses, before meals and at bedtime.

Dosage may be increased and reduced according to age and symptoms.

UBENDOL should not be administered under 7 years old of age.

General precautions

1) Consult with doctor or pharmacist before administration to the patients who are administering the other drug.

2) When administer for 2 weeks and there i no improvement, stop administration and consult with doctor or pharmacist.

Other

1) Digestive Process: Alibendol stimulated not only the digestion and absorption of fat but also the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (vit A,D,E,K), calcium and iron by activating the action of Lipase, Glyceridase.

2) Stimulation of cholanopoiesis and biliation: Alibendol show biliation over 3 ours continuously. Contrary to hydrocholeretics-secreting low-viscosity bile, Alibendol not only stimulates the secretion of high-concentrated bile but also has longer duration of action than dehydrochloric acid. Also, Alibendol stimulates biliary exertion by relieving abnormal concentration of Odd’s sphincter.

3) Safety: Alibendol can be prescribed safely since the safety is validated with children (4mg/kg/day) and has no adverse events, contraindications and drug interactions so it can be prescribed.
