STUGERON Tablet

Relieves the following:

- a form of dizziness in which objects appear to circle around the body and the symptoms associated with it, like ear buzzing, nausea and vomiting;

- ordinary dizziness, concentration and memory disturbances, irritability, certain kinds of headache and other symptoms caused by a disturbed blood circulation of the brain;

- pain in the legs while walking, leg ulcers, cold or numb fingers and toes, cramps in the calves at night and other symptoms caused by a disturbed blood circulation of the arms and legs.

This medicine also prevents motion sickness and migraine.

Dosage

You should take the medicine after meals. The tablets are best taken with a little water.

It is best to start with a small amount of STUERON, after which the dose can gradually be increased until the desired result is obtained.

- In most cases the following doses is 1 tablet 3 times a day.

- For a disturbed blood circulation of the arms or legs, and in particular for pain in the legs while waling; 3 tablets 2-3 times a day.

- For motion sickness: adults: 1 tablet, Children (5-12 years): 1/2 tablet.

You should take STUGERON a half hour before you leave a trip, and for log trips you can take it every 6 hours after that.

Do not take more than 9 tablets a day.

If you know that you are oversensitive to it.

Common: sleepiness, discomfort in the stomach, weight pain.

Uncommon: prolonged nocturnal sleep, vomiting, discomfort after meals, stomach ache, excessive sweating, tiredness, itchy red lesions or rash on the skin or grey shite pimples in the mouth,

Very rare: movement problems like jerky movements, muscle stiffness, trembling. These symptoms are also known as “extrapyramidal symptoms” (EPS). red circular lesions or rash that occur on sun exposed skin areas.

Medicines for depression and medicines that slow up your reactions (sleeping pills, tranquillizers and strong painkillers) can have an increased calming effect when taken with this medicine.

Alcohol and this medicine strengthen each other’s dulling effect. You should therefore limit the amount of alcohol you drink while on this medicine.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant of plan to be pregnant, inform your doctor, who will decide if you can take this medicine.

Breast-feeding

If you are taking this medicine, you are advised not to breast-feed since very small amounts of the medicine could end up in the breast milk.

If you have Parkinson’s disease, tell your doctor, who will decide if you can take this medicine.
