PRESIUM-L Capsule

For irritable bowel syndrome, acidity, gastroesophageal reflux disease, gastric ulcers, Helicobacter pylori infection, peptic ulcer, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, frequent persistent heartburn and indigestion.

Dosage

As directed by the physician.

Take drug on an empty stomach with water.

Capsule should be swallowed whole, not chewed or crushed before swallowing.

Hypersensitivity to Esomeprazole/Levosulpiride. In addition, this medicine should not be used if you have allergic reactions, cardiac impairment, epilepsy, gastrointestinal bleeding, hyperprolactinaemia, malignant mastopathy, mammary dysplasia, manic states, mechanical obstruction or perforation of GI tract, pheochromocytoma.

Flushing, hypertension, bowel irregularity, constipation, dyspepsia, tinnitus.

Aluminium and Magnesium containing antacids, Atazanavir, Citalopram, Clomipramine, Diazepam, Imipramine, Itraconazole, Ketoconazole, Nelfinavir, Phenytoin and Sucralfate.

Pregnancy

Do not use in pregnancy.

Breast-feeding

Use with caution during breast-feeding.

- Consult a doctor if you have malignancy or community acquired pneumonia.

- Do not drive or operate machinery.

- Drinking alcohol, smoking, taking steroids, seizure medications, as well as family history of osteoporosis increases risk of osteoporosis while taking this medication.

- Have absence of periods, abnormal milk secretion or changes in sexual desire, fever, or muscle stiffness.

- May increase risk of lupus.
