COLIGON O Tablet

Indications:

1. For immediated relief from the effects of hyperacidity

2. Gastric hyper motility

3. Dyspepsia/Heartburn associated with alcoholic intoxication

4. Heartburn/Gas bloat syndrome

5. Flatulent Dyspepsia

6. For prompt relief from the symptoms of GERD

7. Pain associated with peptic ulcer

8. Abdominal spasms/colic pain

Dosage:

As directed by the physician (Medical practitioner)/Pharmacist.

Coligon O is contraindicated in those with obstructive uropathy, obstructive disease of the gastrointestinal tract, severe ulcerative colitis, and unstable cardiovascular status in acute hemorrhage, glaucoma, myasthenia gravis and patients with kidney failure and patients on hemodialysis and infants less than 6 months of age, nursing mothers.

The common symptoms seen in case of over dosage are; Nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, dilated pupils, dizziness, dryness of the mouth, or difficulty in swallowing.

Contraindicated in nursing mothers and pregnant women.

Use with caution in patients with autonomic neuropathy, hepatic or renal disease, paralytic ilcus, hyperthyroidism, hypertension, coronary heart disease, congestive heart failure, tachyarrhythmia and hiatushernia.

Coligon O is an antipeptic ulcer preparation with antacid. Anti flatulent, spasmolytic and local anesthetic effects. Coligon O neutralizes acid faster, adjusts the gastric acid pH to the ideal range of 3 to 5 and maintains it for a longer period. It corrects the problem of excessive gastrointestinal gas experienced by many ulcer patients: breaks up the mucus that envelops gas bubbles so that these are immediately released and prevented from producing abdominal discomfort. It relaxes the hyperactive smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract to check hyper motility or spasms that aggravate peptic ulcer pains. Coligon O is used for prompt, prolonged and three-dimensional control of peptic ulcer, ulcer pains and other symptoms associated with hyper acidity. Coligon O promotes healing of ulcer.
